Colour Analysis for Team Building and Brand Events: Your Questions Answered
Looking for a team activity that includes everyone, or a way to draw people to your stand at an event? Colour analysis does both. Below are the questions HR teams, office managers and event planners ask me most before booking.
I'm Isabelle, founder of Colourbella in Amsterdam. I've run sessions for teams at Findest, Santen, Hunkemöller and Reaktor, and brand activations for Intimissimi and JBL. I also work in HR myself, so I know what a team session needs to deliver. For formats and prices at a glance, see For Business.
What is colour analysis team building?
It's a session where each colleague discovers which colours suit them best, using the four-season method, while the rest of the team watches and joins in. It runs at your office or venue, either as a workshop (the Colour Analysis Masterclass) or as quick one-to-one drop-in sessions (Speed Colour Analysis).
Why is colour analysis a good team building activity?
Because everyone takes part on equal terms. There's no sport, drinking or performing, and it suits every age, gender and role. Each person gets their own moment, colleagues see each other in a new light, and everyone leaves with practical advice they use the next morning. Teams tend to keep talking about it long after the day.
How much does colour analysis team building cost?
The Colour Analysis Masterclass costs €85 per person for 4 to 8 people, €80 for 9 to 12, €75 for 13 to 16 and €70 for 17 to 20. Groups of 21 or more get a custom quote.
Speed Colour Analysis costs €200 per hour, for 4 people per hour.
All prices are excl. VAT. Travel outside Amsterdam is quoted separately.
Should we choose the Masterclass or Speed Colour Analysis?
It depends on what you want from the session:
Choose the Masterclass for a dedicated team activity of 1.5 to 2 hours, where everyone is together and learns how to use their colours, including at work.
Choose Speed Colour Analysis to add something to a bigger day, such as an offsite, wellbeing week or Friday drinks. People drop in for 15 minutes each. Express Undertone checks of 2-5 minutes can be arranged too to have even more people get a sense of their best colours.
What does the Masterclass cover?
How colour works and the four seasonal palettes, each person's season revealed in the room, how to wear and combine your colours, colour psychology at work (presentations, client meetings, being visible as a leader), hair and grooming tips for the group, and a live draping demonstration. Everyone takes home a personal colour pocket card and a practical PDF guide.
How many people can take part?
The Masterclass suits 4 to 20 people, with a custom plan for larger groups.
Speed Colour Analysis works for any size: I see 4 people per hour or up to 10 for Undertone Checks, so you book the hours your group needs.
Is it suitable for mixed teams?
Yes. Colour analysis works for everyone, and the guides and grooming tips are adapted to each person. Men often find it just as useful, especially for choosing shirts, suits and ties.
What do we need to provide?
A room with good natural daylight near a window, a mirror, and a table or space for the group. I bring everything else.
Do employees need to prepare?
For the Masterclass, each person sends a photo in daylight without makeup beforehand, so I can complete their analysis in advance.
For speed sessions, a plain neutral top and minimal makeup work best. I send simple instructions you can forward to the team.
Can you come to our office, or outside Amsterdam?
Yes. I run sessions at offices, event spaces and venues across the Netherlands and Germany. Sessions in Amsterdam include travel; outside Amsterdam, travel is quoted separately. I am happy to travel anywhere within Europe.
Can you do colour analysis at a brand event or activation?
Yes. Speed colour analysis at a stand, store event or launch draws footfall, keeps people at your stand and creates natural content for social media. I've done this for Intimissimi and JBL, and at ThriftPark festivals in the Netherlands and Germany. I price these per hour, or per person for high-volume events.
Can the materials carry our company branding?
Yes - For the Masterclass you can add a printed booklet with your company branding. I can also custom make colour palette cards. Print costs are extra and are always done at Print & Bind Amsterdam.
Which languages do you work in?
English, Dutch and German.
How does invoicing work?
All prices are excl. VAT. Once you confirm, you receive an invoice from Colourbella (KVK 95076174).
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally at least 14 days ahead. For the Masterclass, this gives everyone time to send their photos and gives me time to complete each analysis before the session.
How do I book?
Use the enquiry form on the For Business page with your date, group size and location. We'll have a 15-minute call to agree the format, and then I'll send you a clear proposal.
