colourbella Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of styling services provided by colourbella ("we," "us," or "our"), a personal styling business based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Overview
colourbella provides personal styling services including but not limited to:
Colour analysis sessions
Body shape consultation
Style personality assessment
Wardrobe editing and organisation
Personal shopping services
Virtual styling consultations
Group styling sessions
2. Booking and Payment Terms
2.1 Booking Process
An initial consultation (in-person or virtual) is recommended but not required to discuss services, availability, and pricing.
For single-session services, full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.
For multiple-session or package bookings, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining 50% balance may be paid in one or more instalments according to the agreed payment schedule.
Instalment schedules must be completed before the final session date.
Deposits are valid for 6 months from the date of payment, after which they become void.
For international clients, full payment may be required in advance due to currency conversion considerations.
2.2 Payment Methods
Invoices are issued for all services.
Accepted payment methods:
Bank transfer (preferred)
Credit/debit card payments
Instalment payments must be made according to the dates stated on the invoice. Late payments may result in rescheduling delays or temporary suspension of services until payment is received in full.
2.3 Pricing and Fees
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and include Dutch VAT where applicable.
2.4 Instalment Payment Terms
Instalment options are available only for multi-session or package bookings with a total value above €300.
The number of instalments and payment due dates will be agreed upon in writing before the first session.
Late instalment payments (more than 7 days overdue) may incur a €15 administrative fee.
Services may be paused until overdue payments are received.
Instalment payments are non-refundable once a session included in the package has been delivered.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
3.1 Client Cancellations
7+ days notice: Free rescheduling (one time only), deposit remains valid.
3–7 days notice: Rescheduling permitted with €25 administrative fee.
Less than 3 days notice: Deposit forfeited, new deposit required for rebooking.
No-show: Full session fee charged, new deposit required for future bookings.
3.2 Multiple Reschedules
First reschedule: Free (with 7+ days notice)
Second reschedule: €50 administrative fee, must rebook immediately
Third reschedule: Deposit forfeited, new deposit required
3.3 Our Cancellations
If we need to cancel, you will receive a full refund or free rescheduling.
We are not liable for any consequential losses due to our cancellation.
4. Refund Policy
Deposits: Non-refundable under all circumstances.
Gift vouchers: Non-refundable, valid for 6 months from purchase date.
Completed services: No refunds offered.
Partial services: Refunds considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
5. Location and Travel Terms
5.1 Studio Sessions
Colour analysis and style consultations are generally conducted at our Amsterdam studio for optimal lighting and setup.
Studio address will be provided upon booking confirmation.
5.2 Home Visits (Amsterdam and Surrounding Areas)
Home visits available only if good daylight location can be provided for colour analysis and style consultations.
Wardrobe editing services are always at your location.
Travel fee: free within Amsterdam metropolitan area.
Outside Amsterdam: €35/hour travel time.
Minimum 2-hour booking for home visits.
5.3 Shopping Services
Personal shopping available in Amsterdam city centre only.
Requires advance preparation time, hence city centre limitation.
6. Gift Vouchers
Valid for 6 months from purchase date.
Non-refundable and non-transferable.
Full payment required upon purchase.
Additional travel fees apply if service location requires travel.
Physical vouchers sent via post, digital vouchers available via email.
7. Wardrobe Editing and Clothing Removal
7.1 Clothing Donations
Items designated for charity during our session cannot be reclaimed.
We are not liable if you change your mind about donated items.
Donation receipts provided where possible.
7.2 Clothing Resale
We can facilitate connections with sustainable fashion resale platforms.
We do not guarantee acceptance of items by resale partners.
Items not accepted for resale will be donated to charity.
We are not responsible for resale values or timelines.
8. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
8.1 Style Recommendations
All styling advice and recommendations remain our intellectual property.
You may not redistribute or resell our styling methods or materials.
Personal styling reports are for your personal use only.
8.2 Privacy and Photos
We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality of all personal information.
Photos may be taken during sessions for reference purposes with your consent.
We will request separate permission before using any photos for marketing purposes.
You may request deletion of photos at any time.
9. Email Communications
By booking our services, you consent to receive our styling newsletter and tips.
We never share your email address with third parties.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.
Important booking and service communications will continue regardless of newsletter subscription status.
10. Liability and Insurance
10.1 Our Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of services purchased.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
We do not carry professional indemnity insurance for styling services.
All styling advice and recommendations are provided as guidance only.
We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from your implementation of our styling advice.
10.2 Customer Risk and Responsibility
You acknowledge that you implement all styling advice and recommendations at your own risk.
We are not responsible for any dissatisfaction with purchases made based on our recommendations.
You are solely responsible for all purchasing decisions, including fit, quality, and suitability of items.
We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from styling advice or shopping recommendations.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided to us.
You must disclose any relevant physical conditions that might affect styling recommendations.
You are liable for any damage to our equipment or studio premises.
10.3 Advice Disclaimer
Our styling services constitute opinion and guidance only, not professional financial advice.
Individual results may vary based on personal interpretation and implementation.
We make no warranties or guarantees regarding specific outcomes from our services.
You should use your own judgment when implementing any styling recommendations.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Government restrictions or lockdowns
Transportation strikes
Serious illness
Other unforeseeable events
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law and EU consumer protection regulations.
12.2 Dispute Process
Initial complaints should be addressed directly to us via email.
If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the Netherlands Consumer Disputes Committee.
Amsterdam courts have exclusive jurisdiction for legal proceedings.
13. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your data is used only for service delivery and legitimate business purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Data retention period: 7 years for financial records, 2 years for styling preferences.

14. Corporate and Group Services
Special terms and conditions apply to corporate events and group bookings. Please contact us directly for corporate terms and group pricing.
15. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
